Complete the Hotel Data Form (MOP 2.0) 🎥

The Hotel Data Form is a crucial tool for creating your hotel's profile in MOP. It is provided in Excel format and will be uploaded into MOP. Before you start entering data, please follow these steps:
The Excel file consists of three tabs: "Instructions" (to be read first), "Hotel Information," and "Room Numbers."
The "Hotel Information" tab is where you will input details about your hotel's location, including workspaces, common areas, storage areas, and more.
The "Room Numbers" tab is where you will enter the room numbers and their corresponding descriptions for your property.

1. The landing page, labeled "Instructions", displays a list of codes and their corresponding descriptions for various hotel locations. These codes and descriptions are provided as recommendations for your reference while completing the Property Data Sheet.
Ensuring the accurate identification and differentiation of areas within your hotel that share identical names is crucial. This includes properly discerning the locations of spaces such as storage areas, satellite storage rooms, stairwells, sidewalks/walkways, and hallways. For examples: “HALL dash 1N” for the 1st floor hallway on the north side of the building; “STOR-2S” for the 2nd floor storage on the south side of the building; or even “STAIR-3W” for the 3rd floor stairwell on the west side of the building. Feel free to add specifics for your hotel.
We encourage you to print this page so that you can have a reference for the meanings of each code.

2. Hotel Information. As the title suggests, this tab is where you can input your hotel's essential information. This includes details such as your general manager's name, the hotel's name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number, fax number, and email address. Additionally, you'll need to provide your assistant general manager's email address and your property number, which is of utmost importance.

3. On the same page, you should list all non-client room locations within the property. This includes areas like storage, hallways, workspaces, and more. In the left column, enter the corresponding code, and in the right column, provide a description or name for each of these locations.
What's essential is to ensure that you include areas in the form that might require a cleaning assignment or a work order to be assigned to them.

4. Room Numbers. On this sheet, the room numbers are organized into series of hundreds. In the "number" column, input each room number, and in the "descriptions" column, specify the room type or description for each room number.
Make sure to correctly enter room numbers and their corresponding descriptions in the appropriate sections. If there are more fields to be filled, please scroll down to access them. The descriptions should match what is listed in your Property Management System for accuracy.
For some integrated hotels, room numbers and types may be automatically imported into MOP from your PMS. Please check with your onboarding contact for details.

5. That's it! You have successfully completed the Hotel Data Forms, which is the initial step to get started with MOP.

Return this sheet to your Visual Matrix implementation specialist, who will guide you through the next steps of the process.
