When is the transition/update to MOP 2.0 scheduled?
The transition to MOP 2.0 is scheduled to be effective on December 15th, 2023 for all properties on the cmsmop.com URL. This update aims to provide users with a refreshed interface while maintaining the familiar functionality and introducing new features.
Is everyone, every user concerned by the update?
No. Currently, our Wyndham properties are not yet included in the update. The update for these properties is pending brand approval.
Can users continue using MOP 1.0 after December 15th?
Yes, you can continue using MOP 1.0 after December 15th, 2023. However, it's crucial to be aware that the current version will be phased out in early 2024. While it's not advised to use both versions simultaneously, you can essentially keep using 1.0 if 2.0 encounters an issue. Consider transitioning to MOP 2.0 for the latest features and support.
How challenging is the transition from MOP 1.0 to 2.0?
The transition from MOP 1.0 to 2.0 has proven to be smooth based on feedback from initial hotel upgrades. All departments are swiftly adopting MOP 2.0 within the first day after watching the transition video and utilizing the knowledge base.
How long does it take for an employee to complete the transition to MOP 2.0?
The entire process, which involves training, updating mobile devices, and setting up teams, can be completed in 20 minutes or less.
Have there been any changes in the wording between version 1.0 and version 2.0?
Indeed, there have been some alterations. In MOP 2.0, you might observe variations in the terminology used for Duty List terms compared to MOP 1.0. Our goal is to enhance the user experience for all users and achieve better consistency in naming various Housekeeping duties. As part of this initiative, we have standardized our Duty List terminology.

Do users need to create new accounts on MOP 2.0, or is there a way to import users from the legacy MOP?
Users will receive an email with new credentials for MOP 2.0. However, they can continue using MOP 1.0 (legacy MOP) as usual.
Will all of my data carry over, such as tasks completed, work orders, and Preventative Maintenance?
Yes, all your data will be migrated during the update.
What languages are available for MOP 2.0?
As of now, MOP 2.0 is available in English and Spanish only. Other languages will be added in 2024.
If I am transitioning from 2.0 back to 1.0, what happens to the data I've worked on in 2.0?
The data is stored in the same database, so any changes made in 2.0 are reflected in 1.0, as they both read from the same database.
How do you keep the Room Attendants from seeing each other's assignments?
By default, room attendants only sees the tasks assigned to them. Their home page is showing "My Tasks" section. To check the privileges given to each role, go to the
Identity Management.
How do I see all start and finish times like I could see on MOP 1.0?
The All Task pages now offer a streamlined view for better clarity, while still retaining all the essential details. To access the specifics, simply utilize the convenient side arrow on the right side of each task to unveil the additional information.
