What you should complete prior to the day of going live with MOP (MOP 2.0)

As a Mobile Operating Platform connecting the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and possibly your clients, MOP is administered through any desktop computer but utilized with mobile devices by housekeeping and maintenance teams. In this context, we invite you to take a few essential steps before you launch.

1. Get your Devices
You have two options: either grant your team permission to use MOP on their personal devices or supply dedicated devices for this purpose. If you opt to provide devices, please ensure that you have these devices available and fully charged.
Get more information: Mobile Devices Questions. If you are opting for dedicated property devices, establish an expedited access route to MOP by adding a shortcut on every device dashboard.

2. Gain knowledge about MOP and Visual Matrix support resources
Examine the MOP Courses offered by VM University* and familiarize yourself with the knowledge base and the VM Community. You may discover answers to many of your questions in these resources.
*VM University is currently operating on MOP 1.0, with MOP 2.0 courses scheduled to be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2023.

3. Add Your Staff to the Application - Non-Integrated Properties (not connected with your PMS)

4. Add Your Staff to the Application - Integrated Properties (connected with your PMS)
Integrated properties will have their staff list imported from the PMS. User profile will then have to be updated from MOP User Management.

5. Make sure everyone can log in with their own username and password before their first shift.

If you encounter any issue, contact the Client Experience team at help.visualmatrix.com.
